Hope everyone is having a fun on their long weekend. I'm trying to catch up...well, at least trying not to be so far behind :) We're kinda rainy here so I don't feel so bad on missing out on the bbq's, in fact, if I had my way I would let it rain and curl up with a great book, the phone off the hook, and the doors locked! I'm not anit-social, but I do love having time alone just to enjoy a great book :)
What is your favorite way to spend the day??

If I could have a day to myself... without the chores of housework and things like that... I would curl up on the sofa... a couple books in a pile and read!!! Hubby would be cooking and cleaning and daughter woudld help him!! That would be a day!
BBQ, swim, see friends, a movie, chocolate somewhere in there. End with curling up with a book and having a fantastic dream!

Hmmmm, someone else doing the housework...good lord that sounds perfect :) Oy and I forgot the chocolate, that is a perfect way to enjoy a book!
70 degrees, sunny with a breeze, me on a comfy lounge on the patio with a book while someone cooks for me on the grill...
Mmm...can I come? I'll bring drinks :)
On a free day I just need a cofee, sweeta and a book... oh!! and of course, musiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic!!!
I also love a hot bubble bath on a cold night...of course, I can't use my kindle :) but I have tons of paperbacks still in my tbr pile.
I love staying in and reading too. We're not being anti-social - sometimes we just need some alone time for ourselves to recharge.
Maybe we should all gang together and plan a vacation where everyone brings their TBR piles to the pool and margaritas are served by yummy eye candy who aren't allowed to talk :)
I bring my kindle into the bath -- I just lock it into a big ziplock freezer bag. :)
And a bath, my kindle, some soft music, a glass (or few) of wine, some grapes, crackers, and brie... Mmmmmm. Better than a spa day, any day!
