Fresh Fiction review for My Lord Immortality

My Lord Immortality Alexandra Ivy Reviewed by Annetta Sweetko Posted March 25, 2013 Romance Paranormal In MY LORD IMMORTALITY a traitorous vampire is seeking a medallion that can be used to rip away the Veil that has kept vampires separated from humans. This medallion had been broken in three pieces and given to three different women who can only willingly give it away. Knowing the danger the possession of these magical pieces would entail for these women, a guardian is sent to watch over them. MY LORD IMMORTALITY is the tale of Amelia Hadwell and her guardian Sebastian St. Ives. Amelia Hadwell has turned her back on society, a society that would have locked away her brother, William, because he didn't match up to expectations. She is all there is to protect this large but gentle man, until a gypsy woman gives her a medallion then her world changes drastically. Sebastian St. Ives is a scholarly vampire who has the duty of watching over Amelia, but being so close to the human woman brings to mind much more than books and philosophy. He knows the danger that could befall her and is determined that he will not allow anything to happen to this woman. No matter how utterly headstrong she turns out to be, he will do his duty then return to the peace and quiet of the Veil. So he plans, but the first encounter with the beauty has his scholarly mind turning to more emotional whims. MY LORD IMMORTALITY is a book that is impossible to put down. It fits into a number of genres so anyone into historical, paranormal or romance will find this one a perfect read. The setting is historical London and adds to the feel of the danger young Amelia faces so bravely. There are gorgeous vampires and the right amount of romance to give the heart a number of quick flutters. MY LORD IMMORTALITY is the third in the Immortal Rogues series by author Alexandra Ivy. Though it is not necessary to have read the previous books in the series, this is a stand alone, once you have read it, it is a no-brainer that you will want to read the others. Learn more about My Lord Immortality SUMMARY Amelia Hadwell has no time for London's nightlife. Not when her beloved brother's odd ways have their family threatening to institutionalize him. And not when she is questioning her own sanity after being confronted by a murderous shadow creature - then being saved by a captivating stranger, a man who belongs to a world she cannot imagine. Reserved and scholarly, Sebastian St. Ives has been content without human desires - until they are reawakened by the delicate, brave Amelia, whom he is meant to protect. For the young woman has no idea she possesses the key to a ravenous vampire's dark victory. Now Sebastian must shield her from both a killer and his own growing attraction - or bond with her completely, and forever.

Predatory Review

PREDATORY by Nina Bangs, Alexandra Ivy, Dianne Duvall, Hannah Jayne Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Anthology Sensuality: HOT 4 Stars RT Rating These four fabulous authors give us lovely little tastes of their vampire worlds. These stories will be especially appealing to fans of the various series that these shorts fit into. It is always fun to get an additional glimpse into our favorite universes. In “Out of Control,” Ivy launches a new series featuring immortal sentinel Nikolo, who is trying to guard a lovely young scientist who doesn’t realize that her gifted handling of genetic material has put her in the crosshairs of a killer. However, he cannot seem to guard his heart. In Bangs’s “Ties That Bind,” a frightened girl is rescued from a funeral home — by a vampire. Duvall takes us to her Immortal Guardians world with “In Still Darkness,” where Richart is unable to keep away from a redheaded human, even though he knows that vampire hunting and humanity don’t mix. Jayne’s sexy fashionista Nina LaShay, of “High Stakes,” may be in New York City to promote her designs, but will her snarky barbs and killer outfits be enough to save her when she is the prime suspect in a murder? Levet

I’ve had a few questions about my upcoming LEVET book. It’s a short-short story (around 15,000 words) and while it focuses on Levet it’s not his love-story which I’m still working on . There is another couple, Valla and Elijah. You’ll remember Valla as the nymph that Jaelyn was forced to leave behind in the slaver’s prison. I’ve always regretted leaving her there and needed to figure out a way for her to have her HEA. (Yes, I know she’s a character in a book, but she’s real to me). This is Levet’s coming home story. His opportunity to confront his family! Also, for those who are wanting the story in print, my publisher will be putting it in the back of DARKNESS AVENGED coming in June as a bonus novella!!! I think this should answer most questions!!! Alex
