Help

I don't want to think about the next snow storm that's already threatening, so instead lets share some fav Valentine Day traditions. Do you have any? I always love flowers, so whatever my husband gets for me I always expect those roses :) What about you?

My husband usually gets me Victoria's Secret gift cards.

Not incredibly high on the sweetness or romance meter, but it works! /grin

My hubby and I go to the country club for a real nice dinner. They always give me a rose when we walk in. Very nice since hubby doesn't buy me flowers :). Oh, we give each other cards too.

My boyfriend and I always plan a Valentine's dinner out. After 5 years, we still haven't made it due to some unforeseen issue. Whether one year it's a snow storm, another a flat tire or the reservation gets mixed up. My boyfriend ends up taking me home and making me pancakes for dinner, since it's my favorite food. Even though he has a strict breakfast food is only for breakfast stance. That's love!

My hubby has sent the Dairy Statesmen to sing some great romantic songs, to my job...how great is that...about four times now and I still don't tire of it...he also gets me gift cards to our local bookstores...cause there's nothing better than books.

Chocolates always sound good to me. Or at the very least spending time with your significant other. My favorite thing is both while reminiscing about our love.

My husband hates to give something because it is the expected holiday and one is supposed to give something to one's beloved. So, instead, the week before Valentine's Day, he gave me a huge (really big) bouquet of white mums and some purple flowers that never fade. And a big heart box of candy. AND a delightful humorous card. We have been married for 38.2 years now.
I hope you survive the snow. My aunt in Missouri said it is something fierce. Susan

It's my half birthday, so I celebrate that instead. :)
Hope the weather treats you well.
