Flu Bug

I've been stricken...arrrg. I've had a nasty bug for the past week and while I'm slowly recovering it's been a true pain. On the other hand, I've discovered you can write while high on flu medicine, although I'm afraid to go back and read what I've scribbled :) Our nasty, gray weather hasn't helped, and I'm longing for spring already!!

I hope you all are having a better January!

Alex

Oh boy, it will be very interesting to see what you have written when you're off the med's ;).

I'm sorry to hear you're sick. :( My Nyquil induced writing is always interesting. I tend to fixate on certain words.
Get well.
BTW, apparently you used to be an office manager for my mother's cousin (I was introducing my mother to the world of blogs, she saw your name on my follow list and told me about the above mentioned, very distant, relationship).
Again, be well.

It will be veeeerrrry interesting, Victoria! Erin, can I ask the name of your mother's cousin? I've had a few jobs over the years :)

I want to say Scott, but I can't remember. He sold weapons and ammo to law enforcement. There's a whole chunk of family in Missouri and Illinois that I don't know and that's unfortunate.
Sorry about throwing that randomness at you. :)

Sad... I hope you recover soon, maybe a little bit of Venezuelan sun would help you to recover, we're all fried here!!

Hello, Victoria. This is Susan Kane, Erin Kane Spock's mother. I am a first cousin to Sean Austin, whose mother Vada Austin Terrell is my mother's sister. Sean is about twelve years younger than me, and I had the good luck to see him back in August. My granddaughters gave me Devoured by Darkness for Christmas, because they liked the picture on the front. I have been toooo sick to read it, though. I have the 'revolving door cold' that has hung on since Christmas day. I look forward to reading it. Check my blog out. Susan Kane @thecontemplativecat.blogspot.com
