Smothering

Oy it's hot here...I'm really, really hot which truly a shame since I know the end of summer is coming and a want to be out enjoying the sunshine :( I hope that it's better weather where you are! On the writing front I'm working on a new anthology and gearing up for the release of Yours for Eternity and of course the looming release of Tane's story in Nov. That's my story...what's going on with all of you??

I'm not sure where you are exactly but we seem to be sharing the same oppressive heat. We are currently stationed in the DC area and have experienced some really awesome weather this past year. The changing seasons and winter blizzards were certainly fun. I'm from Phoenix originally so the heat doesn't bother me as much but I have to say...this humidity absolutely makes a girl wilt!

I'll be glad when we move back to the desert. Only 3 more weeks:)

Unfortunately, it's ridiculous hot here in Oklahoma too:( I'm ready for some SLIGHTLY cooler weather. I'm not ready for summer to be over, but bringing us out of the 100s wouldn't be so bad!

I'm ready for some 80 degree weather with plenty of sun and a few hours in a lounge chair :)

Here in South Texas, we could give hell a run for its money on the heat front. Hundred degree temps usually aren't much of a problem for us, but we have no idea how to handle that combined with 85 or 90 percent humidity. Our heat indexes have been through the roof hanging between 108 and 110...

Well it is just after 1 AM and it's 95 degrees. it will be 112 by Sunday.
I have lived in the Phoenix area for almost 50 years and I still can't handle it. "it's a dry heat" is a bunch of bull.

God, I HATE the heat. I live in the northeast for a reason. This has got to break soon or my poor husband is going to kill me. After almost 4 yrs the Tamoxifen is kicking in and the hot flashes in this heat SUCK! So I'm just reading quite a bit and trying to cool off.

Thanks for all the info. Another anthology - I am happy.

I suppose we'll all have to suffer together...

Here in Central Texas the heat is bearable, the blooming heat index of 110 + the high humidity is not!
I too love the change of seasons when we hover in the low 80's and in the early morning hours you get up and go outside and it feels like air conditioning. It was like that this morning for maybe 45 minutes after being oppressively hot all night last night it felt great when took my pup out for his morning business!
Methinks fall may be coming in my area, crossing my fingers and hope the sunshine stays but the temps lower!

Waiting for your next release to come out and I love Anthologies!

I live in Missouri, near Kansas City and the weather here is sweltering. I feel like I need a shower right after I step out the door.
