It's Monday

Hello to all from a very icy Missouri :) We didn't get the terrible ice that hit the upper midwest and northeast but it's enough to close schools and keep me from daring the roads...not that I mind being iced in...maybe this way I will keep my nose to the grindstone and get some much needed work done (hey, a girl can hope!). I do hope that your weather is much better than mine and that you're finishing up the last of your xmas shopping. This year I am doing something different. Instead of the traditional turkey or ham, I'm thinking of doing prime rib (my side of the family is very, very small or I'd never be able to afford it :) Of course now that I've had my stroke of brilliance I'm still deciding what to have with it...pretty much the traditional menu is out the window.

I was wondering what food you love to have for Christmas...for me, the one thing I won't compromise on is sugar cookies...I'm insanely addicted to them and only allow myself to have them at Christmas because I can't stop eating them. Do you have a favorite dish???

Ho, ho, ho to all,
Alex

My family loves roast beef and mashed potatoes. I also make those really decadent marshmallow fudge things that you find the recipe for on the back of the marshmallow fluff jars. The are about a gazillion calories a piece but soooo delicious. Good thing both my teenage kids are skinny and in shape. Cant's say the same thing for their mom and dad though.
