Hello to all! I'm sorry I' ve disappeared but I've been hard at work finishing up my regency historical (the research always takes more time than the writing) and filling out my outline for the next Guardian book. Of course, I also had a full house during Thanksgiving so I fell behind on just about everything :( I am about done with my Christmas shopping which is a plus, but my house...yikes. To be honest I HATE housework. My mother is fabulous. You can't walk into her house and find one thing out of place and she always has a freezer full of food so a dozen people could just show up and she would have a meal on the table in less than an hour. Me...not so much :) The bane of my existence is vacuuming. What about you? Do you hate or love housework. What's your least favorite?

Hope all is well,
Alex

I am almost done with my Christmas shopping too! Just one or two people left to buy for.

I HATE laundry!! LOL! That's the only household chore that I could do without!

Ironing...
You know I even watch out when I buy my clothes...

I love cooking, but I hate doing the groceries... So my freezer is full too... lol

When I look at my grandma, she's 89 and each day of the week she has her chores to do... She lives in a service flat, so 3 rooms, a kitchen that's not used and still... Every morning she cleans a room. In a way I admire it, you never get a visitor at an unconvenient time (when the house is a mess - something my mother in law always seems to know)

Oy, laundry...bleck. And bathrooms make me cringe with a husband, two teenage boys and all their friends...it makes me nuts!

I loathe housework. To be fair to our generation many of us have outside jobs and it's very hard to work all day and come home and do housework. Of all the chores I hate grocery shopping most of all...yuck! I always get behind this time of year because I take my daughter to a regional Irish Dance competition right around the time we normally put up our Christmas decorations. It messes me up to be gone for 3 or 4 days this time of year. It's a great bonding time for me and my daughter though so it's worth it.
