It's been one of those gray weeks here that make winter so blahhhhhhh. I'm excited about Darkness Revealed release date and working hard on my next book, but I need some sort of distraction before I turn into Johnny from the Shining. (OMG, does anyone even remember that movie besides me?). So I'm hoping that some of you are having a more exciting February than myself and will be willing to share :) An fun Valentine's Day? A new car? A new job? A vacation. Please, please...anything!

Wish I could help, but I've got nothing. Redrum, Redrum!!!!
well me and my friends had a really fun dinner last night. ten of us squeezed into one booth at UNO's and unfortunately bugged our waitress with endless requests. it's hard to satisfy 10 hungry girls, and boy.. =]] but she liked us anyway. then I had a fun day exploring Boston for the umpteenth time with my friend. we were total tourists even though we live 30 minutes way. =]] and today i am going to try indian food at a restaurant in salem. WOOO! hope that helped. not very exiting but something at the least. Here to entertain you i will tell you a joke... ready?
here it is
Two zebras are talking and one asks the other, "Am I black with white
stripes or white with black stripes?" The other replies, "Well I don't
know. You should pray to God about that and ask him." So that night he did
and God replied, "You are what you are." The next day he said to the other
zebra, "I still don't understand what I am because God just said, You are
what you are." The second zebra responds, "You must be white with black
stripes or else God would have said, Yo is what yo is."
TADA!!!! some quality entertainment right there!!!
Sorry for the late reply, busy week at work. Well once again my news is Irish Dance related. My daughter has been invited to dance with The Chieftans at Bass Hall in Fort Worth on Monday. If you aren't familiar with the Chieftans they are an Irish folk band who have played with The Corrs, Allison Krauss, Bono and numerous others. They have been around for 40 years and this is an exciting time for us. Down here in Texas our weather is much milder so I'm not experiencing the "Shining" flashbacks but I am still bummed about not winning the ARC of Alex's new book if that helps.
I wish I could have weekly books sent...I did buy a few but go through them too fast.
I tried a new Polish restaurant and had a good laugh w/friends!
Wishing you the same joys!
Reading, eating and good friends!
Can't wait for March!
YAY for 'the shining' or 'the shinning', as they say on Simpsons!
Redrum and telepathy + a scary house always makes a good story! :)
OMG so I'm at my local Borders and what do I spy with my little eye but a lovely purple paperback. To my amazement it was "Darkness Revealed"!!! I'm already 2/3rds of the way through it and just got it yesterday. Then to my further delight what do I see but Deborah Raleigh's newest "Seducing the Viscount"!!! I'm in heaven and there is nothing boring for me right now. I need to try and savor both books and make them last but I don't think I can resist the temptation to just tear through them.
Yeah!!!! I happened to catch sight of the books in Walmart, and made sure to put them at the top of the stacks :) I just love to know when someone is enjoying the books!!!!
LOL!!!!
Thats funny, cause if I see your books, or any fav. author I put them up front for all to see! :D
Well, I got a new truck! lol!! So glad to get rid of the van.
We are getting ALOT of rain here. We were almost in a drought, so we needed it, but I still hate it, lol!!
Never snow here, so its not the Shining kinda feel here. But I have enough crazies living here to make it seem like it, lmao!!!
