Mine is a delicious soup made with a smoked ham hock, potatoes, lentils, and whatever veggies look yummy at the time!

My favorite Autumn comfort food is beef stew and pumpkin pie with Cool Whip! Yum! Especially if I have a cold or anything like that. Just seems to help make it all better.

I would have to say....My hubby's chili.

I can't eat real spicy foods, and my hubby makes the best mild chili around. Even the chili's in a can are to spicy for me. He takes such good care of me.

I love ham and beans too!

my absolute favorite comfort food is homemade chicken and dumplings. No short cuts, no canned broth, no store bought dumplings. The type that takes all day to make with lots and lots of love ..lol. So that when its finally done you can savor it.

I love pumpkin flavored anything and everything! This is also the time of year when I bake many different types of cookies but my favorite are cut-out sugar cookies. I always associate them with Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Oooh homemade Ukrainian style potato pancakes just like my Baba makes. Hot and crispy with sour cream. Makes me think of being little and spending time on Babas kitchen and all the wonderful smells when ahe was making cinnamon buns, perogies and all those wonderful Ukrainian dishes. Yummmmmeeee

Mmmmmm, yummy comfort foods! I love them all, but I have to say my absolute favorite comfort food on a crisp, autumn day would be stew. Any kind of stew...chicken, beef, moose, elk, bison, vegetable...I just love stew on those chilly days. Nothing can warm me to quicker than a nice, hot bowl of stew and a roll :)
