Okay, I have Tane's book off to New York, so to thank everyone for their patience, I've decided to hold a contest!
If you'd like to win an ARC for YOURS FOR ETERNITY (my anthology with the fabulous Hannah Howell and Kaitlin O'Riley) then just tell me your favorite comfort read (mine is anything by Georgette Heyer). Just as a heads up, my story in the anthology is connected to the Guardian series with Levet making his usual appearances :) but it is a historical story.
Leave your comments below and good luck to everyone!!
Alex
PS I'll draw for a winner bright and early on Friday morning (June 4th)

My comfort read is the Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon which i have read over a million times.
My comfy reads will probably scares some.... Joey W Hill and Lissa Matthews are at the top of my list of what I grab when I want a comfy read. Yeah, not your typical comfy read, but these two authors rock my boat!
Thanks for letting us know where Tane is headed!!! **Bigs smiles**
Hope all is well Ms. Alexandra!
My comfort read is Sandra Hill, Hot and Heavy!
My comfort reads change every now and then but as of today it's JR Ward's series!
I use reading as my confort and to lower my blood pressure..except in a few of the love scenes.LOL...I read paranormal, urban fantasy, historical romance and syfy..it takes just a few minutes to take me out of this world and the stresses of life and into another world ..Your books Alexandra had me on page 1...Thanks!...and thanks for this contest!whooooweee..OH BTW say hello to Levet for me..:)
i adore paranormal fantasy, especially the romance aspects! which is why i'm so hooked on reading books by Alexis Morgan, Doranna Durgin, but my fave series to re-read is the Demonica Collection by Larissa Ione! just reading about the love that can blossom out of a dark situation is soooooo comforting to a single mom like me!
My comfort read is anything historical romance, especially Scottish/Highlander!
My comfort read is the Anita Blake or Merry Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton
Gotta go with Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse series here...
My favorite comfort read is the In Death series by J.D. Robb. I could read about Eve and Rourke forever and solving the crime/mystery never gets old for me.
But if I had to choose a paranormal read then I would say Kenyon, Hamilton, Ward or Rice.
OMG, I have so many, where to start...Dark-Hunter's, BDB, Anita Blake, Breed's, Feral Warriors, Lords, Atlantis Warriors, The Others, Demonica series, IAD, etc...need I go on. What can I say, I LOVE TO READ! :):):) And yes, I have all these series on my library shelf, plus others i didn't name, and am seriously running out of room. LOL!
my favourite comfort reads are Lora Leigh's breed series and anything by Nalini Singh or Christine Feehan,
My comfort is to re-read my favorite parts of my favorite books -- that's why I have to keep all of my books - just in case :o)
Some of my comfort reads Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampire series and Rachel Caine Morganville Vampire series. Not typical comforts but I love them.
I don't think I have a favorite comfort read...I enjoy reading as a whole and get into whatever I am reading at the time. I do however like to read series rather than stand alone books since they allow me to get to know the charachters more in deptth.
I am looking forward to your next books!!!
Maria S
My favorite comfort reads are Gena Showalter, JR Ward, and of course Alexandra Ivy. :)
My favorite comfort read would have to be one of the books from the Leopard Series by Christine Feehan. Any one of them, on a rainy wet day when I haven't gotten a new book to read in a while, makes for a nice little slice of YUM!
J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood.
My favorite comfort reads are:
Dark Lover by J.R. Ward, The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost and I love Styx so I have re-read Darkness Everlasting quite a bit. And even though the story makes me cry I love to re-read Acheron by Sherilyn Kenyon.
My favorite comfort read is Lynsay Sand's Argeneau series. I can always count on that to make me laugh.

I really have 3 that I just can't stop listening to when I need a little comfort so here goes in no particular order, depends on my comfort taste at the time:
For really good LMAO comfort I have Molly Harper"s Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs, Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men, and Nice Girls Don't Live Forever. Molly takes sarcasm to a whole new level!!
Next for a little Angel comfort I turn to Angel's Blood by Nalini Singh. I just can't get enough of Illium aka Bluebell, Raphael the kick-ass angel himself and Dmitri the Yummy vampire.
And third, I love me a little magic with Christine Feehan's Drake Sister Novels (any or all of them).I just love those girls and their HOT men!!
Sorry Ms Alexandra that you weren't on my list.I've been following you but have not had the budget to buy your books yet. However, you come so highly recommended by your fellow authors I follow, you are at the very top of my TO BE BOUGHT NEXT list.
Ooooo... congrats!!! I hope he behaved better for you. :)
My comfort reads are also Georgette Heyer, specifically The Black Sheep, A Lady of Quality, or The Nonesuch.
If I am not in a romance mood I will crack open either The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elisabeth Moon, or the Dragonsinger trio by Anne McCaffrey.
Then of course there is the Lord of the Rings and Jean M Auel's books... I haven't reread those in a while... *ponders*
My favorite comfort-read are a lot of Vampire Series. The Dark Hunter Series of Sherrilyn Kenyon or the Series of Nalini Singh etc. greetings Pedi
My comfort reads are of course your books, Ione's, Cole's, Frost, Vincent, and Nancy Atherton's Aunt Dimity books.
My favorite comfort read isn't a paranormal series at all which is strange. But anyways when I need to read something that comforts me I turn to Sophie Kinsella for some english humor and love.
My comfort read is whatever I'm reading at the moment. As long as I can lose myself in a great story, that's comforting to me. There are so many wonderful books to read, I very seldom re-read anything.
I love reading you, of course, Alendra Ivy but I also love reading Kerrelyn Sparks.
Well, right now is BDB, or the manga Angel Sanctuary, or something from Linda Goodman (an astrologist, I know is wierd =))
My comfort reads would be Frances Mayes or like you Georgette Heyer.
Hello Alexandra! My comfort read would have to be Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series. :-)
It depends on my mood mostly. If I need to really just relax, my comfort reads are from my keeper shelf and usually involve anything by Hannah Howell, Lyndsay Sands, and Christine Feehan.
Comfort reads have to be favorites I read a few times like Karen Chance, Cassandra Clare, Nalini Singh and Ilona Andrews.
My favorite comfort reads, anything by Jennifer Crusie, her books always bring a smile to my face. The Sookie Stackhouse is another favorite. I've probably re-read that series more than any other.
Looking forward to the upcoming antho, I just love Levet!
Despite the fact I'm so anxiously awaiting to add your newest Guardians of Eternity book to my comfort read list, I would have to say anything by Jacquelyn Frank [especially the Nightwalkers series], Keri Arthur [so sad the Riley Jensen series just finished..I read the last one too fast], Christine Feehan [on the lookout for Dark Peril], Kathryn Smith [gotta love the Brotherhood of Blood], Lynsay Sands [who can resist a tempting Argeneau?], Melissa Delacruz [the Blue Blood series is very addicting], and a new favorite Kresley Cole [her Immortals After Dark books are just phenominal].
Really looking forward to Tane's story and the anthology!!!
Anything by Beverly Barton!! I am anxiously awaiting Tane..

Arwen :)
My comfort reads is Valdemar books by Mercedes Lackey (Tamra and Kethy series or Last Herald Mage)
Toughy, toughy... Only one? Hmmm... Then I'm going to have to say J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood. Mainly because it was after hers that I was dragged into the erotic world of vampires (mind you I was NOT kicking and screaming). ;) Because of her rough and tough heroes I then stumbled upon the wonderful likes of yourself, Lara Adrian, Joey W. Hill, Lynsay Sands, Christine Feehan, ... Well, the list goes on and on and on. And is constantly growing. But I ALWAYS look forward to your books and tend to jump on them as soon as they're available. Thanks so much for allowing us into your world!
~M.
My favorite comfort reads (and re-read and re-read and re-read) are the Twilight series -I've read each book at least 8 times- and Christine Warren's The Others series because they are fun and easy to read.
I love to read Linda Howard's SARAH'S CHILD as a comfort read. I also reread Lora Leigh's Breeds series over and over!
Hmmm, anything Paranormal Romance is always a good read.
Thanks for the contest!!!

My comfort read has no title. It has a description. My comfort read is so well written that I lose myself in its pages. I can hear the accents of the various characters as they speak, I can smell the scents of the men and women of the stories and taste the flavors of foods & drinks that are so vividly described by my favorite authors. My comfort read takes away the unpaid bills, the balance in the checkbook, the fact that it's only Monday night and I have 4 more days to work.
My comfort read got me through sitting in the waiting room at the NICU as I waited for the next update on my very sick granddaughter. (who is now a healthy 8 month old)
My comfort read has many names and many faces that I can call on to calm the storm, lighten the mood, introduce me to new sights and sounds. My comfort read is my best friend! Thankfully I found Alexandra Ivy to add to my comfort reads!
I'll forever be grateful to my Mom for introducing me to a whole world of comfort reads!

My Comfort Read Would Be Anything By Jane Austin. Her Stories Are Always So Amazingly Brillant. Her Stories Draw You And Make You Feel Like You Are A Part Of The Story. They MAke You Feel Like You Have A Vested Interest In The Outcome Of Her Characters.
